NEWS RELEASE

When I come across something I like, or something of value, I want to share it with others.

Below are the titles of a few books that I have enjoyed. I hope you will check them out for yourself on Amazon.com.

Just click on the link in each block below to read more about the books.

1. Try Giving Yourself Away by David Dunn

This is a delightful book, which sets forth a hundred simple things you can do to make your life much happier.

2. The Elements of Style by Strunk and White

This book is a must for folks who want to improve their writing skill. It is simple, down-to-earth and to the point. I have found myself referring to it over and over.

3. Make a Life, Not Just a Living by Ron Jenson

"Informative and practical, this book is loaded with common sense and the realistic side of inspiration. Good Stuff!" Zig Ziglar

4. Drawing on the Right Side of the Brain by Betty Edwards

This book is the most widely used and highly praised drawing instruction book in the world. It has sold more than 1.2 million copies. It is for people at all levels of skill who want to learn to draw. I have used it extensively.

5. How to Draw Lifelike Portraits from Photographs by Lee Hammond

If you've always wanted to draw beautiful, realistic-looking portraits of your favorite people, this step-by-step guide shows you how to do it--better and more easily than you ever thought possible. (Take a look at the bottom of this page to see an example.)

6. America's God and Country Encyclopedia Of Quotations by William J. Federer

From the book cover: "Highlighting America's Noble Heritage. Profound Quotes From Founding Fathers, Presidents, Statesmen, Scientists, Constitutions, Court Decisions...For Use In Speeches, Papers, Debates, Essays..."

I have found it to be a rich resource, and an eye-opener!

7. The Meditations of Marcus Aurelius.

This secular man gives us insight into the character traits we should all strive for. Extraordinary from a non-Christian writing 2000 years ago!

8. Fifteen Decisive Battles of the World by Edward Creasy

This book gives rare insight into the course of history as shaped by battles fought that determined the fate of civilization. Highly recommended reading for history buffs.

9. The Heavenly Man by Brother Yun with Paul Hattaway

This book is about the miraculous life of Chinese Christian Brother Yun. It will change your life!
