NEWS RELEASE

LOCAL AUTHOR ANNOUNCES HIS SECOND BOOK

Kanith L. Stone, author of It’s a Dog’s World, has just released his second book, The Forgotten Chord and Other Short Stories.  Stone lives in Kettering, Ohio with his wife, Shirley. They have been married for 53 years and have five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In 1999, after heart surgery, Stone retired from his calling as a pastor with the Assemblies of God, and from his vocation as an electronic engineer.  He has worked for such companies and organizations as The Bendix Corporation, TRW, The Tripplet Electrical Instrument Company and others in the Dayton area. While in ministry, he and his wife, Shirley, served as missionaries to Mexico, and also spent time in the Amazon region of Peru.  He was the pastor of The Lighthouse Assembly of God church in Gallipolis, Ohio for 12 years.

Today, he works as a consultant as an electronic engineer and is engaged in writing several more books, one is on project management, and another is a contemporary action novel.
